1 Blink and 1 Chase indicate that the liquid in the cup is 130°-150° F
2 Blinks and 2 Chases indicate that the liquid in the cup is 150°-170° F
3 Blinks and 3 Chases indicate that the liquid in the cup is in excess of 170° F
Recurring Blinks with no Chases following indicate that the battery needs recharging
